If you are totally blind, the U-verse app will be inaccessible to you. Their first version wasn't bad, but all successive versions have become more and more inaccessible. I would suggest you consider Dish Network, Direct TV or Comcast. I use Dish and I know the app allows me to set up a recording, browse what's on now and start a recording on my DVR. Pretty accessible all in all; although it could be better. But it does allow me to do everything I need to except to browse the guide for later programs. For that, I use TV guide mobile.
