OK, but to the best of my knowledge, that will only let you download. Sounds to me like he needs to be able to upload.

I know this depends on the server. Trust me, I run my own ftp server. I'm not that blind in the head. LOL! I know that can determine things on the server side, but I also regardless, don't think findeer let's you upload. I could be wrong, but if I am, I've never gotten it to work on any servers I've tried.

You can also access any FTP server directly from Finder.
Just press Command-k and in the server address enter something like:
ftp://username:[email protected]

It's a very basic FTP client and it does tend to hang if you access directories with a lot of files, but for a quick copy of files it's ok.
