Use Time Machine to make a backup of your user partition. Then use Migration Assistant to transfer all your data--apps, settings, files, etc.--to the new account after installing Lion. It'll be as if you'd just put the computer to sleep and woken it up again, only now it'll have Lion on it and be even better!SWEWEE!
