Can you illustrate?
On one end it is firewire, what type of connector it is, what is on the
other end, usb or firewire as well?
Same connector on both sides or what?

I've done this before; you'll be wanting a firewire a to a cable. It's
actually a great feature that comes in handy every now and again.
