Hi Chris,
I've not used this myself, but someone on a recent Maccessibility podcast 
recommended a program called SoundStudio.  They seemed to prefer it to Amadeus, 
interface-wise.  It can be found in the Mac App Store, and from what I heard 
seems quite capable.
