That "fourth from the right button on the keyboard," is also and more generally known as F10. It's a toggle that's native to OS10, that is, it mutes *EVERYTHING* from the sound card, including VO, Itunes, whatever. Hitting it again un-mutes it. Just wanted to chime in with that detail in case it hasn't been repeated ad nauseum yet. G'day.
