Okay, Let me explain the way I use Mail now and I want those of y'all using Lion to tell me if my method will work or perhaps not.
1. I haven't bothered doing anything with the preview pain at all since I got my Mac. I set my mail up to get messages only when I specifically tell it to do so. 2. I have mail set to organize messages by thread now. So, when I'm arrowing down, (No VO keys), and I hear a thread is present, I VO+right arrow to the subject line. IF I'm interested, I use right arrow only to expand. IF not, I use VO+left to go back to where I hear "thread" and press the delete key on it. IF I'm interested, I'll expand the thread and then, press return on the first message. I interupt speech and then use VO+a to read the message. When done, I press command+w to get back to the messages and press delete on that message. the next message in the thread has focus and so on until the thread is read out or I close with left arrow. 3. Are signatures from 10.6.8 preserved or is it necessary to recreate them? Does the signature part of mail crash like it tended to do in 10.6? Thanks. Sincerely, The Constantly Barefooted Ray!!!
