I still have Itunes 10.3, but something has gone strange with the airplay. I
have an Apple tv and a couple of airport expresses that are connected to
stereos in remote parts of the house. When I go in to the airplay menu and try
to select one of my devices, other than the computer, nothing sticks. The
computer remains checked and the volume goes to 0 percent. If I try multiple
speakers dialogue and attempt to check something in the table of choices,
again, nothing sticks. And when I am in that table of choices and try to
uncheck "this computer" Itunes won't let me. It says I have to check something
else first, but that is not possible. I still have an old version of airfoil,
which is working, so I know my airports are ok. Has anybody seen this behavior
with airplay? What could possibly be causing it? I haven't changed anything
that I'm aware of, but any attempt to mess with the airplay results in the
volume moving to 0 and my attempts at checking do nothing. It is almost like
I'm hitting the mute button instead of the checkbox or menu item for one of my
devices.
