Not true from what little I know.  I've used a u s b headset and it worked just 
fine.  Now, granted, I did have to go under system preferences/sound on switch 
it over to the headset both in the input and output tabs, but that's no big 
deal.

  Okay, in the past I've heard people say that USB headsets don't work to well 
because of the sound card issue, and coming from the USB port you have to do 
some special configurations.  Is this true, has it ever been true?  If so, is 
there a work around or just use regular plug ins is better?  Thanks.
