Hello Anne and others, thx for this message. I have just installed the program and I have played with it for some minutes. I see no difference on the first look and this seems a litlebit disappointing for me. I mean: it's still not possible to set preferences. Abby finereader wasn't able in the past to scan and ocr at the same time. But, the result of what it can is quiet good.
Also, I have some further (update) questions: I am scanning with a canon 700f lide, like you have I think Anne. To scan, I use the mp navigator ex v2.1 so that the keys for fast action on my scanner should work. However, there should be at least one bug in that peace of software: the scanner is sometimes reacting very slow or not when I press the keys on the scanner to start a scan-task. At the moment , I am running lion but it was installed above sl so not a clean install.
