Hi: I just used the screen saver that dimmed the screen; the default one, but suspecting that, I turned it off to no avail. I haven't had the problem today though as soon as I post this I probably will. That's usually what happens. :) I think that it was because the Log Me In program was not hidden.
On a different note, I discovered quite by accident that control+left arrow brings up the dashboard. I couldn't figure out why it kept popping up. Make sure you press that option key good and solidly. :) F12 still works also. I have a feeling it has to do with that spaces and applications thing.
