Hi Earle,
On the web page of Robert's link, I had to interact with the "Audio element controller toolbar" and
then after navigating to the "play" button bring up the context menu with VO-Shift-M. Choosing
"Download Audio" here worked. Trying to use the download link didn't work for me I also tried to
View the web source page and did a search for the linked mp3 file. I have my Safari configured with the
Click to Flash extension (and I haven't upgraded to Safari 5.1 yet), if that makes a difference. I did cc a
response to Robert earlier that the download link didn't seem to be working.

Esther

Thanks Esther. I found your post helpful as well. Just out of curiosity how did
you get the link to the embedded mp3 file?

Hi Jes,
I was able to download Robert's podcast. But his link is a shortened link that
takes you to the web page in which the file is embedded. I'll give you a
shortened link to the actual MP3 file location:
http://bit.ly/qVHjjd
(Note, I don't like posting this way in general, because shortened links can
take you to spam or false web sites -- you have to trust that the poster is not
diverting you -- but the full download link address is so long that it will
almost certainly wrap and break in the mailer).
If you can't download the track directly (because it starts playing in Safari),
press Command+L (to move to the address bar location), followed by
Option+Return (to download the file currently playing).
HTH. Cheers,
Esther

The link says download, but it doesn't do anything.

Hi,
I have just posted a brief podcast explaining how to use VoiceOver to create a
