Jess, 

First, make sure you reboot after downloading Lion.  

Second, be sure to repair all disk permissions before installing Lion.  

Third, I'm assuming that you wish to install Lion on top of Snow Leopard
which, genrally, will be your internal hard drive.  If this is so, then
after clicking the I Agree button, just Click the Continue button and Lion
will install.

If you're suggesting that Lion will not install or that you wish to install
it to a different partition or external drive, let us know.
