I wasn't talking about losing Voice Over, even though that happens too. I meant sounds in general. For example, I have internet radio playing in my headphones. Then when I unplug the headphones, I have no sound whatsoever until I reboot. I don't think I have dust in the jack as Ricardo suggested, like I said this behaviour only started in Lion.
