Hi, I am giving serious consideration to returning to the other version of Skype. The reason? The codec in this version sounds to me to be quite a step back from the prior version. When I used the Skype call test feature, I didn't sound nice and crisp to myself; and, another person with whom I was speaking this morning also informed me that I did not sound as good. I'm using the same microphone configuration I had been using for the past monts (the Grifin Imic with the Audio logitech plugged in to it).
Anybody else notice this pathetically obvious degradation in sound quality? It's not a question of Lion either; so says my own experience. Sincerely, The Constantly Barefooted Ray!!!
