Another thing people have had success with, is to position your vo cursor just 
to the right of the inbox that was already there on the favorites bar. It seems 
to matter, where on the favorites bar you drop the mailbox you are dragging. So 
go to the mailboxes table and interact with it, then find the mailbox you want 
in the favorites bar, then hit vo plus comma there. Now, stop interacting with 
the mailboxes table, move over to the favorites bar, interact with it, move 
right until you are to the right of inbox, and press vo period there. 
Hopefully, this will drag the mailbox from the mailboxes table over into the 
favorites bar.
