the key stroke Control, Option, Shift M , brings up a context menu. this menu
will be different depending on where your focus is when you press the keys.
For example if I want to move a message to a particular mail box I would first
place my focus on the message in the message list table then press VO Shift M.
If my focus is instead on the email text in the message a different list of
options will come up. YOu can use this key combination all over the Mac to do
different things. Another example might be going to the doc you can press
keys and a context menu will come up with choices of actions for that doc item.
It sounded like you thought this was a short cut key for one purpose in
mail. It is actually the way to bring up this context menu in many situations.
Hope this is helpful.
