Hi Anouk,

I think you mean Flip4Mac by Telestream, who took over supporting the Windows Media Player plug-in for QuickTime
Player after MicroSoft stopped doing this. Two thoughts: 1) starting with Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6), QuickTime
Player was no longer part of the default installation. It will be on systems that upgraded from Leopard, but
otherwise requires either installing from the Snow Leopard DVD (for Snow Leopard users), or direct download of a
compatible version. 2) I've heard that the latest version of Flip4Mac, which is dated February 2011 for the
default free version, is not fully Lion compatible. This is based on both reports from sites that report on Lion
compatibility of apps, like<http://roaringapps.com> and posts on the Apple Support forums that some
previously working web pages for streams no longer work after the upgrade to Lion. There is supposed to be a
version 2.4 that will be released soon, but the last query of how likely "soon" was came at the end of
August. You can try this out for yourself, if you want to check this out, or you can search the Telestream support
forums for more details and links to possible interim beta releases that might work. Note the spelling of
"Flip4Mac" as one word with the number "4" in the middle.

In the meantime, here's the link to the Apple Knowledge Base article on "Installing
QuickTime Player 7 on Mac OS X v10.6 or Later":
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3678

Another thing you could try is downloading the trial of radium, described in earlier posts, and
check whether the available streams when you type in "nederland" into the search field
contain any of the content you are looking for. Google "radium macupdate" to find a the
link to the web page and trial download. The Mac App Store has this app, but doesn't support
things like free trial downloads, so you could only purchase the app there (for $25).

HTH. Cheers,

Esther

Hi everyone,
Although I have installed flash player there are still some audio streams i
cant listen to on the mac that i can on a windows pc for example nederland.fm
streams (it also has an england.fm sister site).
I ampretty sure I used a program for this 1.5 years ago but i cant remember its
name, it was free though althought here was a paid version and I think it
interfaced with quicktime for some reason although i mostly used it with audio
streams.
Help would be appreciated because I cant remember the name of the program and I
want tolisten to those streams because I know I can and dont want to go install
windows for it.
Thanks in advance
