Not sure if it is the same. But it does. command option y I believe opens a new to do. then just enter the info and it goes to your calendar in ICal. You cannot get to fancy with it, but when I used it it worked ok. I am using more and more though my google calendar and I sink my Iphone calendar with my google one so no matter, when I enter the info, it is always available in both sides.
