Keynote will open them and read the content. I'm no PowerPoint Pro but I
found VO would read everything, although it wasn't always in the same
order as on the slide. Never tried creating anything using Keynote with
VO, just reading slide decks. One annoyance is that if I moved onto an
image it kept cycling me through some image mask controls. I had to tab
to get out of it. Could also give OpenOffice or LibreOffice a whirl as
they are both free.
