Hi, Yes I came across this seem situation as well when i wanted to use my external 1.5 tb disk with lion. The folks that have made ntfs-3g also have on their site a commercial ntfs driver that works well with lion and has a 14 day free trial. After that it will cost 25 euro though, about 30 dollars. If you search for ntfs-3g through google the first page will be the one you want and because they heavily promote this commercial driver you cant miss it there.
