Hi, To change the file association, do the following:
1. Select the file with the associated file extension such as mp3. 2. Press cmd-i for Get Info. 3. Navigate to the Open With section.. 4. Select VLC from the Applications pop-up. 5. Press the Change All button. 6. Close the Get Info window. You can do this for the various filetypes you wish VLC to open. Later...
