Hi Mark,  That seems to have done the trick.  Actually what id did was recover 
the trash data from the sd card which is 4.3 gb, so I'm assuming what I want is 
in there.  Now is there any way I can convert it back to the original files?  
The recovered file is called R-00001.rsrc.  So to me that screems "I'm a 
recycler file".  I bet if it was in the right spot on my mac or and external 
drive the files would show up and let me recover them.
