Hi there.
When you call up the program, do nothing. There are no choices, as far as I can 
see, to tell the program what kind of money you have. Also, be sure that you 
have not told your iPhone to mute itself with the switch. I did that once, and 
it doesn't speak. That may not matter, maybe, since VoiceOver is doing the 
talking now. But that was frustrating experience the time I had muted my phone 
and it wouldn't work. 

These days, hold the money fairly close to the iPhone camera and keep it still. 
Then wait about four seconds or so. As I said earlier, I don't have any UK 
money to check it out with, but it didn't give me any choices of what type of 
money after I did the update.
