You could go to the dropbox really quickly by pressing command shift H. Then type d r. That should take you to the dropbox folder. Press command O to open and you're there. I can do this in less than a second using this method. YOu can also copy the folder to your desktop then delete it from it's previous location. I don't know how to add things to the dock or desktop. I'm quite new to the Mac myself.
