Hello list: I frequently experience this bug as well on my mid-2010 MacBook Pro. Sometimes it will never be "free" (as opposed to "busy") and I will be forced to just turn off the computer (as it can grow quite warm if I leave it on at this point). Any other takers? Solutions?
