Thanks, Dan. It looks like it's been accepted, i.e. when I go into my icloud account, it shows up as an email address, but I can't send any mail to it. I've tried from two different addresses, and both messages come back as undeliverable. Also, when I open Mail on my phone, I get an error message that says that either the user name or password is incorrect, and I'm certain that this is not the case.
