I just purchased a 13-inch MacBook Air with a 256GB SSD, 1.8GHz Intel Core i7 CPU and 4GB of RAM. It runs OS X Lion and Windows 7 Pro 64-bit (via Bootcamp) brilliantly. Don't let the slow processor speed put you off. Boot times, especially from sleep, are extremely short (from a sleep state, I can bring back up the Windows desktop in 2 seconds or less). My machine is also for university usage, so this is a huge advantage.
Do be advised that the Air does not have an on-board optical drive or Ethernet port, although USB alternatives are available from Apple and countless other manufacturors and they should be portable enough to carry about in a laptop bag or case. -- James Scholes http://twitter.com/JamesScholes -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
