I don't have all your questions abut mail in front of me, but the ones I remember the most are the following. Is thee a way to create new folders? Yes, I believe you press command, shift N and you will have an untitled folder.. Yes, you can read line by line in mail as well as having VoiceOve read the entire message. All you have to do is press enter on the message you wish to read, and then interact with the message text by pressing option control shift down arrow. You might have to VO right arrow till VO says text with the new version of Lion. I hope I've helped you. Have a great day.
