Go in to preferences and click the under the hood tab, then click on the content settings button. You will need to go down a few headings to find it. Note that if you do this, if it's anything like safari, turning off images may prevent some image links from showing up.

I am experimenting with Google Chrome and I am looking for the option to not display images on web pages so to speed up loading and save bandwidth.
Do you know where can I find it?
I am looking in preferences but I can't find such a thing.
