Hello Jürgen,

The only difference between your method and mine is that your method tells you 
how many items are selected, but you don't hear the first and last cell 
coordinates, whereas with my method, you don't need to count cells and rows 
before starting, you just have to locate the first and last cells.

Your way is much easier for small tables, and mine for large ones. I know of no 
way of selecting a block from a table that isn't a rectangle.
