Hi, Built-in to the Mac is a method of ejecting media upon startup of the unit. specifically, since way back in the 80s when there used to be floppies in the Mac, you could hold down the mouse button right after the power was turned on, or as the startup chime was sounding after a restart and ejectable media such as floppies, CDs or DVDs would be ejected. Apple has continued this functionality with laptops and such, simply hold down the trackpad button, the entire trackpad is actually a button, as the startup chime is sounding and keep it down until your media ejects.
