Guess I'm not 100% clear on what your question is. I'm assuming you wen into QuickTime Player and did the New Recording from the File menu. After that you have a recording which you can save or not. If you didn't save it you can just close the window with command-W. If you saved it you can just delete the file from wherever you saved it.
