Yup, Growl has decided to start charging. I questioned this because some
apps avoid implementing accessible notification by just pointing folks
to Growl. While not expensive, it does mean that VO users will have to
shell out and set up more to gain the same access. I has asked for
comments on this but apparently it bothered me more than most others :)

am I wrong or does growel now cost $1.99? where can one get this from?
I tried getting it from google but didn't really try all that hard,
but only found some sort of frame work. I found a few growel things in
the app store, but I wasn't sure what to select. This would be nice to
have skype read messages automatically

Those of you that use growl, how do you have voiceover set up to
handle the system dialogues that pop up?
It annoys me how every time growl notifies me, I'm pulled from my
current application, and then I have no idea what I'm being notified
about.
Am I missing some setting here?
Thanks,
Traci
