Hi guys,

As I've mentioned in previous threads, I have an early 2011 MacBook
Pro, and have been wanting to downgrade to Snow Leopard for some time.
Well, I'm pleased to report that I finally managed to get my hands on
a copy of it this morning. Now the problems start. When booting from
the dvd, I get the Apple logo, then a screen with a bunch of error
messages, a few of them saying things like, "Panic!" and, "Unsupported
CPU." I read somewhere that the dvd must have at least 10.6.8, because
that update contains all the drivers necessary to support the newer
hardware. I don't know how recent the disk I have is. I've already
downloaded the update combo for 10.6.8. Is there a way to integrate
this with the dvd somehow?

Regards,

Gavin
