I just had to turn in a problem to Apple because this is definitely a VoiceOver thing.
I have this thumb drive with a lot of files on it. Every time I plug it into my MacBook Pro, I get a Finer busy message that won't go away unless I turn VoiceOver off. Most of the time, if I do this, everything is fine after that. However, this last time, when I turned Vo back on, it started stuttering real bad. It's a good thing I had a Focus 40 braille display on my computer because I was able to shut the computer down with it. Vo was still running the braille display. In fact, since I was in the middle of copying a file to the thumb drive, I just used the braille display to finish that before I shut it down, even though I had to listen to weird speech.
