the subject says it all. I am trying to rename a bunch of files that underscores in the filenames. I have a lot of filenames with underscores in the names. so far, about the only reliable method I have found to rename files is the get info pane. there is a second (though less reliable) method using terminal commands (such as mv) but there too many filenames with the first 5 characters being the same.
