I don't like Preview much, either. If you have a high comfort level with a
word processor like Pages or TextEdit, you could always hit Command-a to
select all the text when in Preview and paste it into that other program.

Subject: reading pdfs question

Hi,
Is there an easy way to read PDFs on my Mac? I use the preview thing it
tries to open them in but I can only read small sections and it seems to
want to read them all in one go. I used to use fine reader and make them
into word docs (on windows machines) so I will prob buy that soon for the
Mac, but in the mean-time is there a free/cheap and quick way of reading PDF
files on the Mac?
Thanks.
Kirsten.
