Dunno why but it's available on Amazon for $123:

At that price you might just find it worth it to buy Mainstage 2 which I
believe gives you the right to download all the jam packs (about 20GB)
for free. Quite a deal at $30 US, even if you could care less about
mainstage itself.

Or maybe it's another way of pushing you into buying Logic Pro.
Problem is, if Logic Pro isn't accessible, I have zero incentive other
than the packs. Grrrrr.

This is a great question. Honestly, I haven't a clue. They haven't
updated or added a new jam pack in maybe 5 or 6 years. It could mean
they are coming out with something new or, they are scrapping the
entire project. Besides finding some retailer who still has some
copies, you would have to buy Logic to get all those loops and
instruments.

Hi Ricardo,
That was another question I wanted to ask. Why in a world Apple would
stop selling them? I am sure they know the reason. :)
I have to see if I can find them somewhere for a discounted price.
Wouldn't want to pay full only to learn that something new is to come
out in the next few months.
Anyone is willing to sell theirs? :)

So where do you get these Jam Packs from?

Hi,
yes. It's software. Jam packs are a collection of audio samples
and playable instruments.

I'd like to know is Jam Pack some kind of software? I've not
played with Garage band yet, but if I did, are there instruments
already in there? I am thinking of putting something together
if there are instruments in garage band but not sure where to
start and wonder if its simple. If I could put some tracks
together of my own making using Garage Band then that would be a
good thing to do! Bearing in mind I have no keyboard as I sold
the last one as it was too visual for me.

Hi,
In my opinion, its the most diverse, and best sounding jam
pack. It is probably my rap bias speaking though. lol.

Hello GB users,
Is there any one who owns this jam pack? Is it worth the money?
Thanks,
