And just to answer the question, even though I have no idea what a Bard Book is:
Here is what you type on Terminal to copy your book to another volume.
cp -r "path-to-your-book" "/Volumes/name-of-your-volume"

I see you used Linx to download your book... If that is the case, then I cannot 
understand why your ZIP is not a ZIP anymore.
I would advise you to make sure you actually requested a download on the book 
itself, rather than the HTML page or directory pointing to it.

On the other hand, if Safari is what you used, well... As previously said, if 
your browser is set to open files after download, your original .zip has 
probably be already decompressed automatically. This would most likely be why 
you do not see the extension.zip.
