Thought some may enjoy this tip.
When you are reading messages in Apple Mail, you can switch between available 
alternative formats, like HTML and plain text or a hybrid of both, by pressing 
CMD+OPT+left or right brackets while inside the message.
I find this especially useful with complex HTML messages or when reading 
digests from discussion lists like this one.
Basically, open a message and then press CMD+OPT+left or right brackets to move 
between available format alternatives.
Very cool!
