Hi Shanna. First, even though it's limited, I'd suggest getting the Sendero app. It does have a look around function for points of interest. However, the thing that I use it for all the time is for cross streets. I have found that GPS's for the sighted don't actually tell you cross streets in the middle of where you're going. They seem to tell you to turn and then don't tell you the streets in the middle until you get ready to turn. This bothers me. I have Navigon, and it does turn-by-turn directions. I don't use it as much as Sendero for the reason I mentioned, and I use Sendero also for bus stops.
