Hello Marlaina,

While ePrint will work with many Wifi printers, it is not the printing app I
would recommend for non-Samsung printers as some manual labeling must be
done for various aspect of the app. Sighted assistance is not required as
the function of the non-labeled buttons become apparent when activated.

Samsung laser printers use a proprietary printing language that many of the
more popular printing apps do not include. My favorite printing app is
Printer Pro which is completely VoiceOver accessible. However, it will not
work with Samsung laser printers.

Just so you know, some people/manufacturers/documentation refer to laser
printers as page printers as opposed to line printers.

Most of the printing apps have a free version which allows you to first test
your printer before purchasing the paid version of the app; both ePrint and
Printer Pro have a free (test) version and a paid (full) version. A friend
of mine loves Print Central, for example, but he has an HP printer.

For the record, both Windows 7 and Mac OS X Lion have drivers for the
Samsung 331 Laser series so it is not necessary to install the driver
software that ships with the printer.

When setting up an Ethernet-ready printer, I never use included printer
software because more often than not, installing said software adds little
more than bloatware to your system.

Good Luck and Happy Printing.

Mark

Will e-print work with other wifi capable printers?

Hello Craig,

I just purchased a beautiful and marvelous Samsung 3312ND monochrome laser
printer from FFry's electronics for $86.00. This printer is both a USB and
Ethernet/Wifi unit that can print on both sides of the paper. It also has
an envelope feed that I just adore. After setting the unit up on my Wifi, I
configured it using the Safari browser. Finally, I downloaded an App on my
iPhone called ePrint and now I can print to it from my iPhone.

It's not an air printer, actually, but one can print to it if it is on a
Wifi.
