HI all, For those of you wondering what each key on the keyboard does, especially if you are using multiple layouts for different languages, I thought I would share my nice little mac discovery in case some don't already know it. The feature called keyboard viewer is accessible with vo and if not always clear definitely with exploring. To enable it: 1. Go to system preferences 2.then language and text 3. select text input source (the 4th tab) 4. In the input source table check the character and keyboard viewer.
Now you can show the keyboard viewer for our current layout by going to the text input menu. You will be presented with a series of buttons arranged like a keyboard with each of them labeled with its unction. IF you want to see any alternate functions of each letter press option wile vo is on that letter and you will hear what it is. Hope this makes sense and was useful or interesting for some of you. I found out about trademark sign degrees sign and so much more. Take care, Ioana Please check out my cd on www.ioanagandrabur.com on iTunes and most online stores. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
