Dear listers, When attempting to find and replace, I'm having a focus problem with voiceover. Does that sound familiar? What happens is: when I select a character that landed in my pdf converted to plain text, I either want to get rid of it, or I want to replace it with what it should have been, like an apostrophe. I first select the character using shift arrows, I then copy it to the clipboard using command c, I then call up the find replace dialog using vo m for menu, e for edit, enter to open the edit menu, f for the find menu. I hit enter on the find menu to open it, arrow down to find and replace and press enter there. The dialog came up the first time, but no more. Instead I seem to be returning to the text, where I came from. What am I doing wrong here?
