Humanware definately gave Apple all the information needed in order to support that display months ago. But, nobody has control over when Apple will get around to including a driver for that or any other display. It is totally in Apple's court. There has been a number of updates since this display was released, and Apple already had the information when the display was released. But, with a 1.35 GB release just recently they couldn't include a Braille display driver. And, who gets hurt? The display company and people who would like to use that display.

Hi all, I recently acquired a Brailliant 40 BI display. My distributor told me that this product would pair with IOS devices and my MacBook, however this does not appear to be the case. I have no problems using the Brailliant with a Windows machine, but so far have had absolutely no luck with anything Apple. I have done my own research, and it seems that this particular display is not yet supported with VO, but I thought I’d check on this list. Has anyone had luck with one of these things. I really hope so, because I absolutely fell in love with the display, and I’d love to keep it.
