I've read your most recent messages, though, and am not sure this will solve 
the problem you seem to be having with the empty
applications table. That's very, very odd. I learned the hard way never to 
delete something; had to do a clean install of
growl after making that mistake, and that wasn't fun. There are instructions 
for it online that are easily found using
google, but suffice it to say it's not something I want to do again. If you 
don't want growl to work with an app, just
uncheck it. Anyway, I hope the demos help a little.
