It's very much like linux in that they are both unix variants. I've
never used the ? with man so I'm not sure what that should do. I usually
just do "man ping" or "man netstat" to get details. If I'm not sure what
the command is called I use "man -k speech" to look up anything related,
which in this case notes that there is a "say" command.

If you bring up terminal I think you will find everything you need
there. Just use the "man" command to get more info on all the unix
commands including ssh, sftp, scp, rsync etc.
