Hi Egbert, it seems to me you didn't close the sound window before closing the program, did you? At least in Amadeus Pro press CMD + w to close an open window. When you then close the program the sound should still be closed after relaunching Amadeus Pro. ;-)
Give it a try and tell wether you were successful.
