a little note. when you turn off your mac and disconnect everything, as soon as 
you've removed the base lid, touch the lid as a ground. then start work on 
memory exchange. I probably have the same unit as you. mine is a mid 2010 2.66 
500gb model. about to upgrade both ram and HDD. plan is either 500gb 7200rpm or 
1tb 5400 or 750gb 7200 rpm. the drive upgrade is also the same kind of method. 
except it's not clip based, there's a locator screw.
